BRAID's Interim Roadmap for ICT and Ageing Released

BRAID's Interim Roadmap for ICT and Ageing Released

The elaboration of a strategic research agenda for ICT and Ageing is a fundamental instrument for the consistent development of the area. Given the wide scope and complexity of the involved issues, which are of a multi-disciplinary nature, it is convenient to focus on a number of complementary perspectives of analysis. Thus BRAID considers four perspectives or life settings, namely “Independent Living”, “Healthy Living”, “Occupation in Life”, and “Recreation in Life”, which are followed along the various phases of the roadmapping process.

BRAID Workshop 2

The second BRAID Workshop will be held on 7th and 8th of April 2011 in Pordenone, Italy.

This workshop will engage with members of relevant stakeholder groups in order to obtain their opinions and insights on how best to address the pertinent issues. The workshop will therefore benefit from the input of a number of experts who will speak on topics related to their areas of expertise in order to generate discussion and collaboration amongst stakeholders. This will provide a backdrop for the interactive activities focusing on the vision for BRAID and the contents of the final roadmap being created.
